Write4Life Welcomes Fundza.mobi

Write4Life is delighted to announce that we have been entrusted with the fundza.mobi platform and will be incorporating it into our programmes.

While it is deeply sad that the Fundza Literacy Trust – for many years the only national organisation dedicated to promoting literacy for teens and young adults – has had to close its doors, we are honoured to carry this important work forward.

Fundza.mobi is an extraordinary online space filled with stories, courses and articles written by and for young South Africans. It has opened doors to reading, writing and self-expression for thousands of young people across the country. We are committed not only to sustaining this legacy, but to strengthening and growing it in the years ahead.

As co-founders of Fundza many years ago, this moment carries special significance for us. We believe deeply in the power of stories to change lives, and we look forward to breathing renewed energy into fundza.mobi so that it continues – and expands – its impact for a new generation of readers and writers.
